Road Trip - Part 3 : Colmar Tropicale, Bukit Tinggi

- Bukit Tinggi (I wasnt sure why there were loads of people there. Had to park and walk for about 10 mins.  Going down the hill was also a nightmare. Wasn't really sure why, oh why... By the way, enjoy the pix!

Road Trip - Day 2 : Janda Baik & Genting Strawberry Farm

Woke up early in the morning with hope to feel the Spa experience.  But I supposed, lack of staff disappointed us.  Huhu... 11am we checked out, headed to the wedding hall.  Beautiful bride, groom, crowd and yummy food!

After having our small gathering at the reception, we left at about 2pm and headed to Janda Baik. Directed by my newly-bought GPS, we used the old road. It took us about 2 1/2 hour to reach our destination as to our own surprise, we managed to stop by here:

Perhaps it was not the good time of the season to visit the Strawberry Park, since we got disappointed again by the rarely ripen strawberries to be self-plucked.  Decided to just purchase the packed ones (which tasted better with better bargain).  We enjoyed the vain photo sessions and the wonderful strawberry coffee... no coffee has made me smiled the way I did...

We continued our journey and after going up and down, long winded road- we found the big white house. . .

The room was quite small but cozy. We had the attic room, which was cool to me.  Dinner at the resort.  Waited ages for the food but luckily it was worth waiting for, though it was only Fried Bihun. Seriously, very nice. The staff even offered to bake murtabak for us which we declined because we were so tired to eat... Later, after the late dinner, went back to our room and dozed off by a nearby waterfall lullaby...

Road Trip

It has been so long since the last time I updated this blog.  Last April, the gals and I decided to go for a very last minute road trip.  Our initial mission was just to attend Ida's wedding. With the last minute booking and etc. I have to admit, it was so much fun...

Day 1: Friday (29 April 2011)
First, picked up my allies, Seri Kembangan-KL Sentral and off to Tanjung Malim. Wanted to meet the bride but she was too busy to entertain us, sobsob! Had lunch at a mamak's (sangat tidak menarik) then continued our journey to Felda Residence Hot Springs situated about 40 minutes from Tg Malim at Sg Klah, Sungkai, Perak. Here's the map:
Since it was a working day, there were only few guests around the resort.  We booked two deluxe rooms thru the website.  If you're interested in the villas, then you need to book through phone. Am not sure why don't they allow it thru the internet.  The room was quite huge, inside it you'll find a mini fridge, a queen size bed, flat screen tv with satellite channels (huhu... including AXN), iron board, bathroom with a bath tub, electric kettle and to sum up, all the basic necessities that u need.Ok, in the evening we wondered around the pool area. Since there were only few guests around, we had most of the pools to ourselves.  And yes, I had loads of fun with the slides.
