Akhirnya... baru dapat mood nak citer about my trip to HKG. Cuti sem tinggal lagi 5 days je ni. Oh, stressnya diriku! Ok.. let's begin our journey. This time, tapi macam most of the time, buddy partner sama je, kami berdua lagi... Our flight was at 1045 on Saturday morning, tapi pukul 800 dah sampai KLIA. Cathay Pacific was our flight, bought return ticket for a good bargain - RM665 each. Dari naik AA, ni dah include meal and 20kg luggage. Ok sangat lah tu. Oh yeah, but we had to request for Muslim food. Bcoz from HKG back to Msia, confirmlah tak semua halal in-flight meal. Comfy seats, well-entertained (you get your personal screen), flight was on time, the journey was about 4 hrs. Another alternative than MAS. Kadang2 Cathay ni selalu buat promotion dengan tour semua, rajin2lah cek websitenya...
Day 1:
Sampai je HKIA - immigration and collected our bags.. (Cik G paksa Cik I bw suitcase yg gedabak tu, pergi confirmlah barang sikit, dah la baju dia cenoet2 je, nanti susah I nak sumbat perfume2 yg murah itu). Ok, it took us about nearly an hour to settle everything, sungguh besar airport itu. First thing that I noticed was the escalator. Sangat bertingkat2 dan tinggi. Penat gak la berpusing..
Exit je the Green Lane, terus gi carik Octopus Card - very essential for tourist to travel around. Kalau kat Singapore, sama macam Tourist Pass - ble guna for MRT and public bus. Kat HKG ni sgt lah berjasa Octopus Card ni utk travel dgn MTR, bus, ferry, Ding Ding etc. Info on Octopus Card - Click here!
Ok, next, we went to buy the Tourist Sim Card kat Kedai 1010. Cik G strongly advise for you to buy lah this sim card, it'll be extremely useful for us (not only for us to stay Whatsapp, WeChat, Kakaotalk, email dan yang sewaktu dengannya. Lokasi kedainya: Departure Hall (naik lift ke Level 7). Lepas keluar lift, jalan terus, pastu kat belah kanan. Cari kedai 1010 (Lane F, dekat2 kedai pharmacy). Ladies yg kerja kat situ sgt cekap dgn segala jenis hp. Minta je traveller's sim card. Nanti dia tolong setting kan semua. The price dlm lebih kurang HK88 (valid for 7 days - HKD10 for local calls dan yang lebih utk unlimited internet). Tapi Cik I kena byr lebih sket utk Iphone.
Done. Next, we went down to MTR Station. Sila lah study ye map MTR ni dari Malaysia lagi. Senang sket. Bcoz kat sana, semuanya laju. Teringat time study kat UK dulu, semuanya berjln dgn sgt laju. For the first two nights (budget, kan), we stayed at Delta Hotel - Chungking Mansion, area Tsim Sha Tsui. NOTE: kalau pergi dgn family yg anak kecik2, cari lah hotel tpt lain... tertekan jiwa raga ibu bapa.. the rooms are very small for kids to move around. Though there were 2 of us, but we booked room for 3 sebabnya, one single bed (on the left) tu utk letak suitcases kami je. Double bed tu kami tdo berdua. TV-LCD. Ada tpt cukup2 je utk solat (depan katil tu). Alhamdulillah, arah kiblat memang sgt bersesuaian dgn space yg sgt comel itu. Overall, the room is quite comfy for the two of us and clean. Secured pun ye jugak. They provided air panas tapi ada kat hallway. So senang nak mkn maggi ke nak buat hot drinks. Tapi yg scary was the bathroom... The door was see-thru lah. Tertekan kami. Jadi bila sorang masuk, sorang lagi menyorok belakang dinding (yg bwk tv tu). Nightmare kami.
Area ni, memang shopping heaven. Makanan halal pun byk. Masjid Kowloon pun around this area je. Tapi ada gak better hotels around here. Sheraton, Imperial... silalah buat survey ye. Our reason for choosing Delta Hotel was solely bcoz of our budget. (More to spend for shopping)...Ngee :)
Jgn lupa ye, bawaklah bekalan makanan yg secukupnya. We brought instant food lah. Maggi in the cup, 3-in-1 drinks, bubur, mini cereals, susu kotak, air mineral pun kami bawak dlm 8 botol. Ada bloggers bawak sambal ikan bilis, nasi impit, tuna, roti... sedap woo. The food there is quite expensive. More expensive drpd kita mkn kat Secret Recipe Msia ni ha... Jadinya, bajet2 lah ye. Kami mkn kat kedai pun once a day je. Stok makanan pun byk gak.
Dah checked in semua, kami terus berjln ke Avenue Stars, dlm 5-7 min je from the hotel. We passed by Sogo (byk barang sama je harga kat Msia). Sesi photography bermulalah ye... and we watched symphony of lights. Nice, nice view... Very nice. The show starts at 8pm. So make sure u arrive there 20 mins before the show so that you can get the best spot to view the show.
Then, dah start drizzling. Tapi ok je. Sekejap je. Tapi angin sepoi2 tu best sgt.. Teringat time autumn kat UK dulu. We went around the shops at Nathan Road tu. Termasuklah M&S kat iSquare Plaza yg tgh super sale tu. I bought talcum and lotion for my sis and mom. Satu botol talcum powder tu costs about HKD20, on top of that, buy 2nd for half price. Agak kuranglah tahap iman ku di saat itu... Area sini memg shopping sakan perfume. SASA is one of the most popular perfume shops. But I bought mine somewhere else. That story later lah ye.... After dah borong M&S tu (kan dah 1/4 penuh suitcase). We decided to call it off. Balik hotel, solat, makan maggi, minum Milo dan Zzzzz....
TIPS:
1. Study map Hong Kong
2. Study map MRT
3. Survey suitable hotels
4. Food Stock
5. Find good Money Changer - kat bawah Chungking Mansion ni pun byk gak with good deal. Rugi kalau tukar kat airport ye.
